Colors, Numbers and ABCs

Titus and I have been working on colors, numbers and ABCs.

Every color is blue.
Every letter is T.
Every number is 2.

I translate this to mean his favorite color is blue, his name starts with a T, and he is 2 years old. I brought this up to Aaron one night. He brought me back to the point where every animal said, "Baa." I haven't given up hope.

A Typical Conversation

Titus can have a conversation with me now. One conversation and it revolves around Zoey. He loves Zoey like crazy. If only she would return his affections. Here is a typical conversation that I have with Titus about 15 times or more a day.

Titus: MaMa
Me: Yes, Titus.
Titus: Zoey
Me: What about Zoey?
Titus: She bite
Me: Yes, Zoey eats.
Titus: She water.
Me: Yes, Zoey drinks.
Titus: She pee.
Me: Yes, Zoey pees in the yard doesn't she?
Titus: She poop.
Me: Yes, Zoey poops.
Titus: She kick.
Me: Yes, Zoey licks.
Titus: Bark.
Me: Yes, Zoey Barks.

In the car today he threw a new one at me: Zoey Bye-Bye.
Me: Yes, Zoey is at home.

Doesn't Zoey live such an interesting life?

Happy 2nd Birthday!

I have a 2 year old now. We went simple this year. Our friends Frank and Julia came in town with their two kids, Isaac and Stella. Titus and I were going to be going to San Antonio the 4-8th, so I had decided to not throw a big party with it being so close to his birthday. We ended up not going, because my friend's brother ended up getting sick two days before our trip. There will be many years ahead when he will understand birthdays a little more and I'm sure big parties will come with it.

The balloons the night before his birthday.

Waking up to find balloons outside his bedroom door.

Watching TV in Daddy and Mommy's bedroom (part of morning routine while Mommy prepares breakfast).

Opening gifts
Card from Grandparents
Here's the $2.
Present from Frank & Julia
School Bus with ABC flashcards
Present from Uncle Kyle and Aunt Beth that came in the mail.
Here's the paper, Dad.
I love it!
I love it!
and I love it!
A card and picture from Uncle Kyle and Aunt Beth.
A gift from Daddy and Mommy.
I love books!
I was showing Titus that his picture was in the book. He tossed the book across the living room.
Present from Grandparents.
Isaac came to help open the gift.
Frank playing with Titus' bus.
Daddy and Mommy bought a cart to go with the groceries.

After nap we had the birthday cupcakes for a snack.
He blew the candle out all by himself the first time.
Fist bumps with Daddy
Eating the chocolate ball on top of the cupcake.
For supper I fixed Titus some of his favorite foods.

 THE END

Halloween Cowboy

This is the first year Titus can say, "Trick or Treat." The day after Halloween he tried to go Trick or Treating two more times. He thought that was a great idea. As we were leaving for the YMCA in the morning, he was a little upset we weren't getting in the wagon with his pumpkin. After his nap, he decided to give up on getting the wagon out of the garage. He took his pumpkin and went walking down the street. He didn't go to anyone's house. I think that part was a little too intimidating for him. Here are pictures of him before we left to go Trick or Treating.
