1st Baseball Game

Aaron was given tickets for a baseball game. We got to see our very first Louisville Bats game, a minor league team. Titus had fun playing in the bleachers, even though he didn't like being contained to one row. At one point, Titus and I took a walk. We found a vendor that was giving away stress reliever balls. The guy attending the table threw a ball toward Titus, and that would probably be his highlight of the experience if he could tell us in words.

Kentucky State Fair

For my step-dad's birthday, we took him to the Kentucky State Fair. This was Titus' first experience at a State Fair.

The law would have to pay me more than $1,000 for me to turn Titus in. :)
He makes a pretty cute farmer,
 and an even cuter fireman.
My two favorite men - Titus is giving Daddy a kiss.
Everybody loves an ice cream cone, especially on such a hot day. Thankfully, most of the activities were inside.

Titus had fun on the tractors.

I wish I would have gotten pictures of him playing on the bus they had set up on display. Titus got a real kick out of the seats and feeling like a big boy.

Waterfun - Part Three

Later, the same day, Titus and I both enjoyed his pool. It was a lot of work to blow up (using an air compressor) and fill with water, and I wasn't about to let Titus have all the fun.

Pick 'im up and drop 'im in the pool.

Water Fun - Part Two

For the past year or so I have had a difficult time getting dishes done. In the process of our move to Kentucky, one of Titus' ways of acting out when there was change was throwing tantrums in the kitchen. I would even sit with him to play and when he was okay with entertaining himself, I would go into the kitchen. He would be completely fine as long as I was doing anything else, but as soon as I would turn the water on in the sink, the tantrums would start. Now that we are settled, this has progressed in a different direction. He will be playing in the living room or whatnot and as soon as he hears the water, he wants to, "help." Sometimes I wash the dishes in the hot water and let him "rinse" dishes in cold water, so that he does not get burned. These are pictures of the fun he can have in the kitchen sink.

Water Fun - Part One

I think I took a bazillion pictures of Titus and his water play. Therefore, there will be three different posts of Titus playing with water. Yeah, he loves water that much. :)

He helped me fill the pool up with water.
Pay no attention to the big scrape on his forehead. He fell on the pavement on the front porch.
I tried to make a water slide, but Titus thought it was a water fountain.  Don't worry, I made sure his mouth didn't actually touch the hose. Although, it is kind of gross to think about.
 Other cute pictures
Blowing bubbles in the water is a new thing Titus has been doing.
He enjoyed the slide part of the pool also. He never went around the slide. I mostly put him up on top to avoid him getting grass in the water.

He got up close and personal with the elephant.

I think the thing I love to watch most with Titus is him with water. He has always loved baths and anything to do with water. Last we knew though, he did hate big pools with cold water. But give him cold water straight from a hose and he's more than fine. Sometimes his lack of fear can be scary though. When he was younger, he would cry after "drowning" himself. Now, he comes up laughing.
