After Naps and Bubble Blowing

There became a certain pattern with the kids and who got up first from naps. I enjoyed my times on the front porch with Michayla before the others joined us. The order was usually Michayla, Titus, Elijah and Caleb on waking up from naps. Titus and Caleb went down an hour earlier than the older two though. Here are a few pictures of the 3 kids on the front porch. By the time Caleb woke up we were normally back in the house preparing supper.

 

We had also made our own bubbles and blew them from the back patio.

And now we can move on to Thursday, June 14th.

Waterpark Fun

The kids were looking forward to the water park the most. The waterpark was the hot topic when they talked about coming to Aunt Erica's house. When it came down to it - Michayla loved it, Elijah hated it, Titus had the same attitude as he did last time (interested for about 10 minutes), and Caleb grew into loving it. The two olders ones made it to the top of the pyramid. Caleb wanted to so bad, but wasn't quite big enough yet.

 Once Caleb discovered the metal bars (not sure what they are for) the older kids wanted to do what he was doing.

My mom wanted to be a part of the action.

This was my attempt at trying to get a group photo. Caleb was terrified of the bridge and Titus wouldn't stay still, let alone all the other kids at the park jumping through the picture scene.

Caleb warmed up to playing in the water. Once he realized it was okay we could hardly get him away from it.

So, did I tell you that Michayla had fun?

I will now leave you with a cute conversation between Elijah and I. He is 3 years old.

Me: So, what was your favorite part about today?

Elijah: Can we talk about yesterday?

Me: Ok, so what was your favorite part about yesterday?

Elijah: The puppet show where the lady blew her nose.

Out of all the things that happened in the puppet show, Elijah's favorite part was when the lady was reading a good book and blowing her nose during the sad parts. Apparently, that was even better than the waterpark.

More About Pom Poms

On Tuesday, Michayla had brought up the fact that they would be missing Father's Day. The older two did an art project every day they were not with their parents and presented it to Daddy in a binder when they saw him. We decided that would make a great Father's Day gift even though it would be a little late. Our first art project was gluing Pom Poms onto paper.

On Tuesday we also went to the library for a puppet show. This was their idea of sitting against the wall before we headed out to the van.
