Louisville Waterfront Park

Kids are weird. Titus loves baths. He loves "swimming" in his pool in the backyard. He hates being in the big pool, at least at the last hotel we stayed at. He loves playing in sink water or water in a bowl with soapy suds. He was just okay with water popping out of the ground. It was like it was interesting, but not all that. To his mom, it is all water! I don't get it. Anyway, he did enjoy himself and had fun. I think it is one of those things he'll have to be introduced to again to really get the hang of it. He enjoyed watching the others kids and copying off them, although he did get knocked over a couple times. He mostly enjoyed feeling the pressure of the water coming out of the ground with his hand.

Titus was thirsty, so he went to his diaper bag and got his water. He carries it around in his mouth, without using his hands as if it were a pacifier. He does this all of the time and I always get comments about it. We always tell people we don't just give him a drink, we hook up his IV.
When he was almost done with his water, he saw a kid catching water in a cup. His eyes lit up and he thought that was a great idea. He started shaking his cup to try and get his lid off. Thankfully, mom came to his rescue.

Hopefully, we will get to go again soon when his cousins are visiting in June!

Camo Day

One day I decided to dress Titus in all Camo. We were out in the garage and he sat in his camo chair. I knew we had his camo hat, so I decided it was time to get a picture of him by the trees. Here are some of the pictures.

Mission Control

Hey Dad, it's Mission Control. We are ready for launch!

I am so excited! This will be my very first spaceship ride.

It's Summertime in Kentucky!

It's Summertime in Kentucky and what does that mean?

It's time to take off your clothes and go swimming!!!

Please put on the appropriate swimwear though, because my eyes are young and no one wants to see that.

I have two turtles, one for my sandbox that has a lid and one without a lid for swimming. Mommy didn't know how I would react to cold water straight from the hose. I enjoyed it, especially once toys were added.

Zoey enjoyed the water too

and I thought it was amusing to watch her drink my swim water.

Well, I hope you enjoy the other pictures from my first swim in the backyard.

Don't worry, I wasn't crying (Just pretending, I guess)
Giving mommy "fist bump"
Mommy calls this picture, "A child's curiosity."
This is Mommy's favorite picture of the bunch!

Great-Grandpa Johnson Turned 100!

Have you heard? My great-grandpa Johnson turned 100!!!

He's looking pretty good isn't he?

It was quite the party!

Mom and I had fun!

My Great Great Aunt Leila is right behind my Great Grandpa in age and she is looking good too.

Like I said, the food was good.

Great Uncle David is in the yellow shirt.
These are the decorators and party coordinators.

Great Aunt Chris (married to Great Uncle David), Aubrey, Bryce and Mommy's cousin Kimmy. Aubrey and Bryce are Kimmy's children.
