Hair Cut or not to Hair Cut

There has been crazy talk about getting Titus' hair cut. Daddy says it is time, but Momma says not until she can get a good thick lock to keep for always. The agreement at the current time is that as long as Momma keeps the sides from going over his ears, his hair can grow. Daddy never said that Momma can't style Titus' hair in the bathtub, take pictures and post them for the world to see. So the question, "Which style?."

Skipping Church

Why did we skip church last Sunday?

Titus was so worn out from Saturday at the museum. His morning nap was shortened, so we could meet up with Steve and Melinda. His second nap was about 30 minutes in the car. For those of you who know Titus well, he requires about 3-4 hours of napping on a normal day. We couldn't bare to wake him up after he slept through me taking pictures and turning him over to his back from his right side. We figured he needed to make up some lost sleep. Doesn't he look so sweet? Hopefully, it won't be much longer before we find a new church home. There are two others we are looking at trying out.

Kidscommons in Columbus, IN

On St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, we met Steve and Melinda with their two kids for lunch and afterward went to a small 3-story children's museum. The kids wore themselves out with all the fun. For lunch we met at an ice cream parlor, called Zaharakos. Don't ask me how to pronounce it. The food was awesome and so was the ice cream.

Titus had his first soda. It was green in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

Katie had a red soda.

Stephen was not too pleased with having his picture taken.

At the museum, Titus climbed in and out of a "tree."

We actually got all three kids to sit still enough inside the tree while we got their picture together.

They crossed over a bridge and climbed stairs.

Katie found some new friends.

Titus enjoyed the mirrors.

We knew Titus loved balls, but had no idea he was so good at basketball.

Titus is also pretty good at break dancing, while Katie likes to stand pretty.

It was a very enjoyable day and we hope to visit again soon.

New Levels

Titus and Tasha have moved their relationship to new levels. These two are going to miss each other. It's a good thing we can come over and visit. Of course, Tasha might be glad to have her peace and quiet again without having to worry about someone poking her eyes, putting their hands in her mouth, and sharing her mommy.

Here are a few other pictures to capture the moments we have around here with the two of them together.

Curls and Girls

This morning I gave Titus a bath and decided to see just how curly I could get his hair. I tried just putting lotion in it like I would when he was a baby. I then decided to use some hairspray. Then, Chong decided to join in with some mousse. See Daddy what we do while you are at work!

While it was still wet and had lotion and hairspray

After it dried out before the gel was put in

Arg! For some reason all the pictures of the final product was deleted, except for one! There were two really cute pictures of him too. So frustrating! Here is the one remaining, even though it isn't one of the better ones.

He's already had one date with a girl, since having such curly hair. However, Addy had to do the driving since Titus was too young yet. Addy and her brother Tison live next door to Ron and Chong.

Lazy, Pajama, Rainy Monday

Today is lazy Monday. Titus is having a pajama day. The day is rainy. So, what kind of fun can you have inside on a lazy, pajama, rainy Monday. You can....

Play Peek-a-boo with a blanket,

Admire the knick-knacks, but not touch them,

Lay next to the dog, but not on her,

Make tunnels with diaper boxes,

or just simply put a frog on your head.

So if ever you are stuck inside on a lazy, pajama, rainy day don't say there is nothing to do. You just have to have a little extra creativity.
